The Breakaway Bread journey in a nutshell…

1981-2021: Ate massive amounts of gluten filled bread (and felt great!).

Jan-Feb 2021: Got a minor virus, which kicked off stomach aches, doctor visits, testing, and, apparently, a lifelong battle with gluten.

March 2021: Diagnosed with Celiac.

2021-2022: Spent a lot of time and a small fortune searching for decent gluten free bread products, but was mostly disappointed. Started baking A LOT of gluten free breads at home…

August 2022: Launched Breakaway Bread!
